ON BICYCLES
Wish for Wheels Gives new bikes and helmets to 2nd graders in Title I schools (low-income) throughout the United States through Fortune 50 companies to sole proprietary/service organizations. This bike is the vehicle to wellness, community, higher attendance, better test scores and FREEDOM!
Over two activations, the Gates team came together with Wish for Wheels to build a fleet of Priority Bicycles. The first set of bicycles went to teens, while the second set went to second graders. To help track impact, metrics such as test scores were tracked to show the positive effects of the bicycle donations.
